The development history of the Kazakh language

An essay contest on the topic "The development history of the Kazakh language" using latin script was held at KSMU organized by the Departments of Kazakh and Russian languages along with the Department of Youth Affairs. 500 student works took part in the contest.

This contest as well as "Opportunities of the New Alphabet" debates, the lecture hour "The transition to the Latin script as a factor of development of the Kazakh language" conducted in KSMU is part of a series of events dedicated to the promotion of the transition of the Kazakh language to the Latin script in the Karaganda region.

According to CPS, associate professor of the Department of Kazakh language S.Z.Shakhina transition to latin script is an indicator of independence and sovereignty and smart move towards merging with modernity, allowing upgrade the national identity, to give a spiritual impetus to society and raise the level of education of the people.
