Webinar «Phenotypes in COPD»
On the basis of the department of immunology and allergology together
with representatives of the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline there were
organized webinar on the topic: «Phenotypes in COPD».
Webinar was conducted within the framework of the «Introduction of new medical technologies, methods of treatment and prevention of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases in practical public health».
The teachers of the department of immunology and allergology, residents and students of 5-7 courses of the «General Medicine» specialty took an active part in the webinar, made a speech in front of which Golubovskaya Marina Ph.D., manager of medical issues of GSK made a speech.
M. Golubovskaya told about the etiology, pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis and treatment of COPD in her presentation.
There were given some examples of scientific research and observations.
The result of the webinar is the indicators of the effectiveness of COPD therapy: namely, achieving and maintaining control over the disease.
