On October 11, Department of Youth Affairs along with the Ministry of Anti-Corruption of Samruk SR held a meeting of students of the KSMU with the local policeman of the LPC of the Central Department of Police captain Dias Gabituly in the dormitory No.1.

  The local policeman told the audience about the work of law enforcement authorities: he listed the offenses the violation of which leads to administrative and criminal responsibility and offenses committed by the students. He also informed the audience about the changes in the Criminal Code of the RK and about the Local Police Service.  He told about the responsibility for administrative offenses, as provided in article 440 of the Administrative Code "Drinking alcohol and being drunk in public places", art.437 Administrative Code  "Disturbance of the peace at night (from 23pm to 06 am)" and art. 434 Administrative Code "Petty crime", he informed students about the need to cross the road only on a pedestrian or underpass, etc. He also explained the sequence of actions in the event of loss of personal property and ascertained the existence of a residence permit for the students of the dormitory.

  The local policeman broached the subject of major changes in the legislation of RK. In particular, on measures to reduce corruption risks in the field of education, as well as advocacy of anti-corruption culture.

  During the meeting, the students were listening with great interest and received answers to all questions of interest to them.
