Vaccination against flu in KSMU
The rector of the Karaganda State Medical University Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova took part in the vaccination campaign and received a vaccine against the flu.
On October 11, 2017, from 09:00 to 17:00, there was conducted a vaccination campaign against the flu at the Karaganda State Medical University for the students and staff of the university.
Influenza - an acute infectious disease of the respiratory tract caused by a virus. It is a member of the group of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). It periodically spreads in the form of epidemics and pandemics. The use of the vaccine allows forming high immunity against viral infection.
Vaccine "Grippol-Plus" (vaccine influenzal trivalent inactivated polymer-subunit) was used for vaccination in KSMU. There were vaccinated a total of 270 students and university staff.
