World Heart Day
On
September 25, Department of Youth Affairs alongwith
the activists of the “CIS” conducted a round table discussion in KSMU dedicated
to the “World Heart Day”.
"World Heart Day" is annually celebrated on September 29, which is designed to attract attention of the population and medical personnel to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
The purpose of the round table is to inform students with the first signs of myocardial infarction and methods of its prevention.
During the event, 2-year student Abdikhasova Gulbanu read a report on the topic: "Prevention of cardiovascular diseases" from which the audience learned about modern methods of the disease control.
At the end of the event, the organizers held a control quiz during which the participantswere given an opportunity to successfully apply the acquired knowledge.
