Meeting with Professors of the University of Poitiers (France)
On the 29th
August of 2017 on the base of the Karaganda State Medical University was conducted
a meeting of the Professors Paul Seit and Brigitte Vannier (University of
Poitiers, France) with the academic staff of the Department of Biological
Profile. Professors of the University of Poitiers were employed at the
Karaganda State Medical University from the September 2017 with the support of
Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of
Kazakhstan.
Professor Paul Seit and Professor Brigitte Vannier conducted introduction lectures and discussions about scientific researches and organisation of the educational process in Biology and Bioinformatics with the staff of the Department of the Biological profile. By the end of the meeting Professor Paul Seit and Professor Brigitte Vannier developed a work plan on research and educational directions.
KSMU and University of Poitiers actively cooperate from the 2014 year. During the 2016-2017 academic year one PhD doctoral student studied , 2 academic and 2 administrative staff of KSMU trained at the University of Poitiers in the frame of Erasmus + programme. Also, a 10-days internship was organised for
6 master's students. From Poitiers to KSMU was organised academic mobility of the two Professors and one administrative staff within the framework of the Erasmus + programme.
