KSMU – the first in the Kazakhstan to receive a certificate of compliance with the standard of good clinical practice (GCP)
The Pharmaceutical
Inspectorate of the Pharmacy Committee of the Ministry of Health of the
Republic of Kazakhstan issued a certificate of compliance with the standard of
Good Clinical Practice to two clinical facilities of the Karaganda State
Medical University. The Medical Center and the Dental Clinic of the University
are recognized as competent to conduct clinical trials of medicines (I-IV
phases) and bioequivalence studies, clinical studies of medicinal products and
medical equipment.
KSMU stands for strict observance of the ethical and scientific standard of quality of planning and conducting clinical trials of medicines, medical products and equipment involving people, for defence the rights, safety and security of research participants, for reliable data acquisition.
The GCP certificate obtained by the KSMU is an image of the university in the eyes of patients and partners, a priority in ordering clinical research.
