27-28.07.2017. On the basis of the National Center for Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases, the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a seminar-meeting held by the World Health Organization dedicated to the health of workers in Kazakhstan. The seminar was attended by the Center's staff, representatives of the Karaganda Medical University, and the Public Health Protection Committee for the Karaganda Region. The seminar was conducted by the Head of the European Center for Environment and Health of the WHO Regional Office for Europe Dr. Elizabeth Paunović (Bonn, Germany) and the director of the Labor Medicine Research Institute. n.of Academician N.F. Also, as part of the seminar, Dr. E. Paunovich and I.V. Bukhtiyarov visits Karaganda State Medical University and hold meeting with the rector RS. Dosmagambetova. During the meeting, topical issues were raised for the training of specialists in occupational pathology and the moments of training specialists in the public health service in the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed separately.
