Taking of Military Oath
On 16 July, the annual ceremony of taking the Military Oath by the
students of the military department of the KSMU was held in Spassk. This day
became solemn for 141 cadets this year.
The military oath is a solemn promise that every citizen gives in joining the Armed Forces.
Academic dean V.B.Molotov-Luchansky, Deputy Commander of the Regional Command "Astana" colonel A.Z.Urazbayev, senior teacher of the Military Department lieutenant-colonel Т.B. Elemesov, Head of the Department of Geography of the Karaganda State University S.A.Talzhanov, the parents of students and the best cadets congratulated the audience.
The speakers expressed their gratitude to the University administration and the command of the military department for providing excellent facilities for the training of students and organizing the festive event.
According to a tradition, solemn event ended with a parade of the united company of cadets with a march and a song, and a memory photo session.
