Academic mobility of the Professor Patrice Naudin from the University of Poitiers (France) within the framework of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility in KSMU
From 19th to 23rd of June 2017, Vice-Dean
for International Relations at the Faculty of Science of the University of
Poitiers (France) Patrice Naudin visited Karaganda State Medical University. The
visit of the Professor was conducted within the framework of Erasmus+
International Credit Mobility.
University of Poitiers is one of the main partners of KSMU. Cooperation between two universities begun in the framework of Erasmus+ program. The result of fruitful interaction became by signing of a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement on 13th June 2017.
During 2017, three representatives of AMS of KSMU (Head of the International Cooperation and Bologna Process Kasymova S. B., Vice-Dean of the FCPD Bokaeva A. B. and Vice-Dean of the 1 course of General Medicine and Dentistry Faculty Baimenova A. S.) and one Academic Staff (Department of the Molecular Biology – Senior Professor Nikolaeva A. B.) visited the University of Poitiers for the purposes of study French experience in various fields of management, teaching and research. Moreover, in May 2017 two Professors of the University of Poitiers - Brigitte Vanier and Paul Seit visited our university. The result of the visit was the nomination of French Professors for positions on attracting foreign specialists to the KSMU under the program of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017 and 2018.
Arrival of the Professor Patrice Naudin became logical continuation of the bilateral Exchange of experience. During the visit was held meeting of the Professor Patrice Naudin wuth Rector of KSMU R. S. Dosmagambetova and Vice-rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation A. A. Turmukhambetova. Professor was acquainted with the Karaganda State Medical University: in particular, was represented the Department of International Cooperation and Bologna Process. As well as, Patrice Naudin was acquainted with the organizational structure and administration of Deaneries and Department of Educational and Methodical work.
In addition to the work program, the Professor was offered a cultural program – visit to KarLag museum and the French Alliance of Karaganda.
Finally, the visit of the Professor completed with news about receiving a new grant in the framework of Erasmus + International Credit Mobility program between KSMU and the University of Poitiers.
