From 27 may to 9 June according tothe Erasmus+ programme, A.S. Baimenova  (Deputy Dean of the faculty of General medicine and stomatology) and A.B. Nikolayeva (senior lecturer of the Microbiology department)were sent for internship at the University of Poitiers, France.

The University of Poitiers has a long history and is one of the oldest universities in France. The University has about 25,000 students from France and from other countries. The training is conducted primarily in French. Training of specialists in the university is carried out by credit technology training at 7 faculties, 2 schools and 5 institutes.

During the internship, the employees of KSMU had opportunity to visit administrative building of the University, faculty of medicine and pharmacy, simulation center at the University hospital of Poitiers and get acquainted with the work of colleagues.

A.S. Baimenova (as an AMU employee) received information on the following sections: the peculiarity of the organization of the educational process in the higher medical school, the peculiarity of the structure of the university and deans, the principle of working with students in different directions (educational, research, academic) and etc.

Analyzing information data accumulated as a result of the exchange of experience between the teaching staff of the Microbiology departments of two universities, I want to mention the high motivational potential in creation of joint scientific-research works and advising of students in actual issues of microbiology.

I would like to express specialthanks to the University administration for the opportunity to participate in this program, which allows not only to obtain information and exchange experiences, but also has created new joint programs and projects.
