May 31, 2017 Karaganda State Medical University participated on the Exhibition of European Union projects which was held in Astana.

This Exhibition was organized by the Representation of the European Union in the Republic of Kazakhstanin the framework of the celebration of Europe Day. Since 1999 year, the Representation of the European Union in Kazakhstan annually celebrates this event by conducting activities dedicated to a wide range of topics, including Culture and Education.

The main idea of ​​the Exhibition was acquaintance of the Kazakhstani and foreign society with the projects that funded by the European Union.

Among the participants of the EU projects at the exhibition following universities were represented:

-  Kazakh National Medical University named after S. Asfendiyarov;

-  L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University;

-  Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi;

-  Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin;

-  Medical University of Astana";

-  Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov;

-  Kostanai Engineering-Economic University named after M. Dulatov;

-  KIMEP University;

-  Kokshetau University named after Abai Myrzakhmetov.

Karaganda State Medical University presented the following projects:

- "Promoting Educational Organizations Through PEOPLE (PEOPLE);

- "Training Against Medical Errors" (TAME);

- "Towards Incoming International University Comminities" (WELCOME);

- "Strengthening Network Education, Research and Innovation in Environmental Health in Asia" (TUTORIAL).

The Exhibition of European Union projects was opened by welcoming speech of the Head of the EU Representation in Kazakhstan, Ambassador of the EU in the Republic of Kazakhstan - Traian Laurentiu Christine.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, the dissemination material of all projects were presented to audience.

After the Exhibition, all participants and guests were invited to a concert.
