On 19 and 20 May 2017, students and staff of the dean’s offices of Karaganda State Medical University participated in the II Conference on the issues of academic integrity in the context of university management.

The event was organized by Higher School of Economics of KAZGUU and Nazarbayev University. The aim of the conference was to create a platform for researchers and practicians in order to exchange their experience, discuss the best international practices, and conceptualize new strategies for developing academic integrity. In this conference, Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the delegation, consisting of A.S. Baimenova, A.K. Omarova, S.B. Aitbek, S. Zhumashev, N.M. Sabyr, A.D. Aueskali, N.I. Belasarov, A.V. Ten.

  Summing up two days of discussion and interchange of views on the topic, the leading international and Kazakhstan researchers, practicians, experts in the field of economics and law have come to a unanimous opinion on the need for legislative consolidation of the concept of academic integrity. This measure will actively contribute to the inculcation of high moral principle of Kazakhstan youth.
