Prevention of Religious Extremism
Nowadays, the extremism
poses a real threat to security of many countries and represents itself an international problem. Unfortunately, young people
are the most vulnerable part of the population of our country, and the students
are regarded as a social category
which isthe most
vulnerable to the destructive influence. Promotion of
various destructive movements is actively spreading among the youth through the mass
media, thus forming the
radical beliefs and views. This topic also affects us, the
students of Karaganda State Medical University.
On 14.04.2017 in Medical State University of Semey was held the second roundtable on the topic “Religious extremism and terrorism. Challenges of the present”. Our university was represented by the senior lecturers of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Disciplines S.A. Nikiforova and B.B. Rysbekova.
