On 10-11 May in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held the VI annual international scientific and practical conference “Topical issues of medicine”, organized by the Public Organization “Young Doctors of Azerbaijan”.

The conference involved more than 70 speakers from among students, undergraduates, doctoral students, practitioners and teachers from such countries as Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia and Kazakhstan.

Our Karaganda State Medical University was represented by doctoral students of “Public Health” specialty and me, Kuanysh Zhuldyz, a 5th year student of “Public Health” specialty.

The conference was divided into two sections: in the first section were heard the reports of the President of the Conference A.V. Aliyev and the members of the scientific committee of the conference. In the second section of the conference were heard the reports of the participants.

I want to express my gratitude to Rector of our University R.S. Dosmagambetova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation A.A. Turmukhambetova, Dean's Office of Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy, to Department of Food Hygiene, General Hygiene and Ecology, Head of Department S.P. Terekhin and, of course, to my scientific advisor Amreeva Kymbat Yeralievna. Thank you for the given ticket to scientific life and for assistance and belief in me within the past 5 years.
