IV Congress of Historians in Astana
On 25 May 2017 at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was held the IV National Congress of Historians of Kazakhstan “Modernization of public consciousness and new tasks of historical science”, attended by the deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign guests, prominent scientists: historians, sociologists and philologists, workers of archives, museums and general secondary schools. The Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Disciplines of КSMU was represented by Head of Department, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor К.А. Temirgaliev and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor А.Е. Daniyarova.
The main purpose of the Congress work was the support of new crucial initiatives of the Head of the State in the field of modernization of public consciousness and spiritual revival; discussion of relevant issues of historical science and education; reaching the new level of work of museums and archives; improvement of maintenance of school and university textbooks.
