Within the framework of the academic mobility program, from 1.02. to 28.02. we, the students of the 5th course of the specialty “General Medicine”, Ermakhanbet Temirlan and Seiyitkhan Maksat, passed the training practice at HELIOS Clinic in Berlin-Buch (Germany). The head of our practice was MD, Professor Ulrich Bitz, who more than once gave lectures at our university and advised patients with cancer in Karaganda region.

 HELIOS Clinic itself belongs to the similar group of clinics, which is currently one of the largest and leading groups of medical multi-disciplinary clinics in Europe. The Helios Concern also owns 28 medical centers for outpatient care. The company central office, comprising 33,000 employees, is located in Berlin. HELIOS Clinics offer all kinds of treatment: from inpatient and outpatient treatment of acute illnesses to rehabilitation treatment and health-improving medicine.

During the training practice, we received extensive experience and a lot of knowledge in the field of oncology, hematology and surgery; assisted in various operations, and expanded our horizons; got acquainted with the healthcare system in Germany.

 We plan to apply our knowledge and practical skills to the development of medicine in Kazakhstan.

 We express our great gratitude for the opportunity to pass the training practice in Germany to Rector of our university R.S. Dosmagambetova , to all employees of the Department of International Cooperation, in particular S.B. Kassymova
