Head of the Department of internal diseases №2 of KSMU, associated professor Yelena Laryushina visited Novosibirsk state medical university within the framework of the higher-education teaching personnel academic exchange program.

During her visit to the Novosibirsk state medical university Yelena Mikhailovna Larushina provided the course of lectures on challenging issues of gastroenterological pathology for intern therapists and clinical residents of hospital therapy and propaedeutics of internal diseases departments. Practical course with innovative technology elements: CBL - training based on the clinical case, interdisciplinary analysis of clinical cases, aroused great interest, among both faculty members and interns.

Yelena Laryushina acquainted teachers, interns and clinical residents with the system of training medical and scientific personnel in the Republic of Kazakhstan, methods of knowledge and skills assessment of students, principles of educational process organization in Karaganda state medical university. In their turn, colleagues from Novosibirsk state medical university presented information about their current education programs and the prospects of its development.

An unforgettable impression was made by the interregional simulation and certification center, opened one year ago. The center is spacious, occupying a huge area, equipped with modern simulators, lecture halls, interactive equipment. Virtual surgical and therapeutic simulation clinics, polyclinic and pharmacy represented simulation models that imitates the structure, functions, logistics and other processes of the treatment process and preventive action with the possibility of didactic functions and feedback. The center also allow to discuss and analyze imitation of real situation and its correlation with reality. On the base of clinics students could modulate logistics chains of patient's "treatment-and-prophylactic processes", and the chain of "receipt-diagnosis-treatment-discharge" simulated. Graduating students of "General Medicine" specialty will be the first to pass the state certification using simulation technologies with video transmission, independent certification by the commission of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation.

The first acquaintance and exchange of experience in educational technologies with the colleagues of hospital therapy and propaedeutics of internal diseases department of Novosibirsk state medical university stimulated the further cooperation and fruitful work between our universities.
