On 22April 2017 in St. Petersburg was held the ХХ International Medical and Biological Scientific Conference of Young Researchers “Fundamental Science and Clinical Medicine. Man and his health”, attended by 60 cities from 18 countries of the world.

I, a 5-year student of “Public Health” specialty, Alpysbaev Daulet, was given an opportunity to participate in this conference, and I was awarded a diploma of the third degree for the best poster presentation on the topic “Epidemiological prevalence of HBV in the Republic of Kazakhstan” (supervisor: Senior Lecturer of Department of Epidemiology and Communal Hygiene, Mendibay Saltanat Tanashevna). I would like to express my great gratitude to the university administration in the person of its Rector Dosmagambetova Raushan Sultanovna for the opportunity to participate in this conference, and also I would like to thank the Department of Epidemiology and Communal Hygiene and the Dean's Office of the Department of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy for support and assistance.
