In order to implement the program of external academic mobility, from 17 April to 24 April 2017, Head of Department of Introduction Into Clinic, M.D., Professor of KSMU Kabieva S.M. conducted a course on “Propaedeutics of children diseases” for 3-year students of Kazan State Medical University.

In the course of the work were given the lectures, conducted the practical classes using the active teaching methods. The course covered the issues of regularities of growth and development of children, anatomical and physiological features of child's organism, methods of examination and semiotics on injuries of organs and systems. Special interest among students was caused by the problem lectures on the interpretation of hemogram of developing organism.

Especially I would like to express my gratitude to Head of Department, R.A. Faizullina for the versatile organization of the visit: a meeting with the pro-rector for educational activities L.M. Mukharjamova; attendance of clinical sites of the department; participation in the work of the Dissertation Council; a conference; attendance of the Museum of Kazan State Medical University; a tour of the city; work with the staff of the department.

During the department meeting was held a lively discussion with the staff of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children Diseases and the faculty pediatrics with a course of children diseases of medical faculty, about the use of active teaching methods, methods for assessing students' knowledge, and studies in medical education. In the course of the joint activities with the host party were approved the general approaches to using of modern methods for assessing the physical development and the principles of nutrition of children of different age groups.

I express my great gratitude to Rector of KSMU, M.D., Professor Dosmagambetova R.S., Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work, M.D., Professor Molotov-Luchanskiy V.B., Department of International Cooperation and Bologna Process, for the given opportunity of constructive cooperation with colleagues from Kazan Medical University and creation of conditions for further fruitful work in training of students.
