On 28 April 2017 at Karaganda State Medical University was held another meeting of graduates with employers. The participants of the event were heads and representatives of RSE “Departments of public health of Karaganda, Akmola regions”, the branches of RSE on REM “National centers of expertise” of Karaganda region and Astana, representatives of personnel departments of CSE “Regional Psycho-Neurological Dispensary”, CSE “Regional Infectious Disease Hospital” , CSE “Regional Children's Psycho-Neurological Dispensary”, Regional Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Kh.Zh. Makazhanov, and others.

B.N. Kosherova, Vice-Rector for Clinical Work and Continuing Professional Development greeted the participants of the event; B.K. Omarkulov, Head of Department of Clinical Work and Graduates Employment told about the areas of professional activity of graduates and the rules of referral of young specialists; V.N. Prize, Dean of Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy wished good luck in choosing the profession accurately.

Then the employers proceeded speaking. The first speaker was Deputy Director of Department of Public Health of Karaganda region of Public Health Protection Committee of MH RK Yu.L. Zalygin. At the beginning of his speech, he focused on the development strategy of our country, its desire to enter the best 30 developed countries, where health care plays an important role, in particular, the health of the entire population of the country. The examples were the works on elimination of recent outbreaks of anthrax, swine influenza, and food poisoning. Yu.L. Zalygin wished everyone not to turn off the specialty road, and said that the work in this area was very interesting, analytical and necessary.

Chief Specialist of Personnel Management Service of Department of Public Health of Karaganda Region S.Zh. Appasova told about over 60 vacancies available in the branches of Karaganda region. She gave answers to the questions of graduates on passing the contest and testing of future civil servants. She also told about the existing bonus payment, strengthening the social guarantees of civil servants and setting the serious requirements for observance of professional ethics.

Director of the branch of RSE on REM “National Center of Expertise” of Astana told briefly in his speech about the staffing and emphasized the great demand in specialized staff for the branch.

Subsequent speeches were made by Specialist of Organizational and Methodological Works of Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the branch of RSE on REM “National Center of Expertise of Karaganda Region” E.Zh. Kurbanbekova, Head of Department in the regional branch of East Kazakhstan region “Center of Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise” Sh.S. Bikhozhaeva. The current situation on the reorganization of the Ministry now will result in the shortage of specialists of public health and medical-preventive care in all areas in the near future.

Head of Department of Public Health of Akmola region Azamat Dyusenov told in detail about the situation in Akmola region, career growth, remuneration of employees, available housing options in different regions and in Kokshetau itself, advantages of living in an ecologically clean region of Kazakhstan, thus attracting the specialists to Akmola region.

At the end of the meeting, all participants, having discussed the future cooperation and assistance in employment of graduates of our university, left their contact details and information about their vacancies.
