About spiritual heritage and experience of the Alash intellectuals

2017, the Department of History of
Kazakhstan and social-political
disciplines organized and conducteda III round table, devoted to the 100anniversary ofthe Alash revolt, on thetopic “Social and economic, cultural and
educational views of the Kazakh national intellectuals at the beginning of the
20th century”, online
between Karaganda State Medical University and Kazakh National Medical
University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.
In the round table participated the famous scientists of Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, Karaganda State Technical University and the academic and teaching staff of Karaganda State Medical University.
The moderators of the event were Head of Department of History of Kazakhstan and social-political disciplines of KSMU, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor K.A. Temirgaliyev, Master of Arts G.A. Mukhatayeva and Head of Department of Economics in health care and pharmacy of Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor G.A. Sadyrov.
An active part in the work of the round table took the students and undergraduates. In their presentations, the students showed the high level of preparedness for the event, and managed to prove clearly the relevance of the topic, reveal the crux of the matter and to defend properly the put-forward provisions. The participants and guests of the round table conducted the discussion briskly, asking sometimes the unexpected questions.
In the resolution, adopted upon completion of the round table, it was noted that the Kazakh intellectuals of the beginning of the 20th century, possessing the heightened social and moral senses, constantly raised the issues about the position of personality in society, its attitude towards creation of new society, rights of each person for democratic freedoms, access to achievements and gain of human culture. The heritage of social thought and spiritual experience of the Alash intellectuals will forever remain in the memory of the people and the chronicle of history.
