MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION BETWEEN PSPI AND KSMU IN ACTION

From 27 March to 7 April 2017 at Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute (PSPI), on the basis of the scientific center of biocenology and ecological research, in the framework of the academic mobility program, the teachers of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics of KSMU, B.B. Rakhimova and A.A. Kelmyalene conducted a course in molecular biology in English for the students of the Department of General Biology of PSPI.

In the course of the work were given the lectures in English and conducted the practical classes using the active teaching methods and laboratory works using the modern methods of genetic analysis and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).

On 30 March, at Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute, on the basis of the scientific center of biocenology and ecological researches was conducted a scientific and methodical seminar “Innovative methods of teaching natural sciences in the framework of multilingualism”. The program of the seminar included an interactive lecture, a master class, presentations made by the candidates of chemical sciences, employees of Karaganda State Medical University B.B. Rakhimova and A.A. Kelmyalene.

The seminar was attended by the teachers from the universities of Pavlodar and Astana (PSPI, Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University), teachers of colleges, teachers of schools in Pavlodar region, students of senior courses of PSPI.

The visit of B.B. Rakhimova and A.A. Kelmyalene is another evidence of the successful implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between PSPI and KSMU, which was signed in January this year.

In accordance with the memorandum and within the implementation of the program of academic mobility, two-year students of “Biology” specialty A. Tazieva and R. Malyshenko are currently studying at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of KSMU for one semester.

Upon completion of the work, the employees visited the museum complex of PSPI, where they could familiarize with the modern and prehistoric nature of Pavlodar region.
