On 16 April at the Palace of Culture of Miners was held the Republican Contest “SPRING CUP – 2017”.

  “SPRING CUP – 2017” is a multi-genre competition which unites various directions: pop vocal, expressive recitation, theater, dances, defile and many others.

  Professionals in choreography and dancing, teachers of vocal, variety and national departments of universities of the region assessed the skills of the contestants. The main criteria for assessing comprised the technique, artistry, stage costume, compliance of the image with the genre theme. More than 40 dance and theater groups, reciters from different cities of Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

  Karaganda State Medical University was represented by “YesTeam” modern dance group, Studio of Performing Arts and participants of “Zhyr zhaukhar” poetry authors club.

   The participants of “Zhyr zhaukhar” Onbai Salamat and Zhuatai Kuanysh took 1st and 2nd places, respectively in the nomination “Expressive recitation”.

  The Studio of Performing Arts showed to the audience an excerpt from the play “The Love for Three Oranges”, which had been successfully performed in KSMU last year.

Princess - Kyzdarbekova Aigerim;

Director - Musabayev Ersayin;

Father - Babayev Aidar.

  The performance was warmly accepted by the audience, and the Studio of Performing Arts of KSMU was unanimously awarded the “Grand Prix” in the nomination “Theatrical Art”. Another “Grand Prix” for KSMU was taken by the guys and girls from “YesTeam” modern dance group. Our team was the best in the nomination “Hip-Hop”.

   All the winners of the competition were solemnly awarded the cups and diplomas during the gala concert of the festival.
