TO HIGH QUALITY OF COMPETENCE

In April 2017 at the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine was held a number of the methodical open classes. The purpose of the classes of such format is to answer the questions: How to make the learning process accessible, exciting, and effective? What should we form in students, what competencies should we work on? Of course, a teacher answers these questions in preparation for each practical lesson. The formulation of such questions forces the teacher to search for the optimal forms, methods and techniques of teaching. “To think, to know, to be able to” are the components of the teacher's activity at the preparatory stage, without which the creative process is impossible. At the same time, the knowledge, proficiency, skills are a means of developing the abilities and competencies.

These tasks were used as the basis for the open classes for the students of groups 2021 and 2022, specializing in “General Medicine” when studying the topic “Tumors.” The open classes were held by Associate Professor of the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine S.A. Musabekova. 

It should be noted that all stages of the class were thought-out to the very smallest detail. In addition, the open classes were thoroughly planned in accordance with the academic hour, with optimal content and diverse means, methods, techniques of teaching, and ways of organization of educational activities.The open classes held using two different techniques, team quizzes and mind mapping, allowed to increase the motivation of students, to make the classes interesting and fascinating.
