On 12 April 2017 at Karaganda State Medical University was held an international scientific conference of young scientists and students “Science world and youth: tendencies and new horizons”. The purpose of the conference was to give an opportunity to the students and young scientists to demonstrate their scientific work results. The student works were divided into the thematic sections. A lot of works were submitted for presentation at the conference, resulting in creation of three sections in therapeutic disciplines solely. Not only students of our university, but also students of the Medical University of Astana took part in the work of the third section. A lot of reports were submitted by the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1. There was shown good preparation of students for the scientific conference that proved the work of teachers of the department. Introduction of the innovative teaching methods such as RBL enabled students to hone their speaking skills. A great interest and many questions arose during the presentation of the 7-year intern Kalimbetova Akerke, who worked under the guidance of the acting professor of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1 Toleuova Aliya Smagulovna. The work of Kalimbetova Akerke “Assessment of risks of complications in patients with atrial fibrillation associated with anticoagulant therapy” was acknowledged in the nomination of “The Best Report”.

A lot of interesting reports were presented by the interns of 6-042 and 6-040 groups under the leadership of Guseinova Zukhra Kadyrovna and Kurmanova Aigul Tleukhanovna.

After the conference all students who made a good presentation were awarded the certificates. Each interesting report and a good presentation of student are always is a credit to the invisible work of teachers, for which we would like to express our appreciation and huge gratitude.
