On 12Aprilat KSMU was held an international conference of young scientists and students “Science world and youth: tendencies and new horizons”. At the conference were young scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Belarus.

The interns of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1 actively participated in the conference. The oral presentations were made by the interns of 7 course: A. Kalimbetova, A. Zhumabayeva, D. Estayev, A. Kulikbayeva and F. Turdaly.

At the auditorium No. 329 were discussed 18 scientific reports in the field of “Clinical medicine”. Zh.A. Beisenbekova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Assistant of Department of Internal Diseases No. 1 and A.S. Akhayeva, PhD student of 3 year of training, were the moderators of this section. They listened to the reports of young scientists and evaluated them. 7-year interns asked questions of interest and exchanged views.

According to the results of the conference, a 7-year intern Kalimbetova Akerke Baurzhanovna was awarded a diploma “The Best Report” for her scientific paper on the topic “Assessment of risks of complications in patients with atrial fibrillation associated with anticoagulant therapy”. Her scientific supervisor is A.S. Toleuova,Candidate of Medical Sciences, acting professor. As always, Akerke proved her interests in science.
