The Youth Festival “Friendly Hearts”, designed to unite the creative youth of KSMU in promotion and establishment of the eternal humanistic values of Peace, Kindness, Friendship and Beauty, is gaining momentum and becoming a tradition in our University.

This year at the II Youth Festival “Friendly Hearts”, the departments of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry united with the students in the teams of representatives of the regions of Kazakhstan.

South Kazakhstan was represented by “Ontustiktin saiyn kyrandary” team, consisting of the academic and teaching staff of the Department of Medical Biophysics and Informatics and 1-year students of “General Medicine” specialty.

The team “Saryarka” consisted of the staff of the Department of Biological Chemistry and 2-year students of “General Medicine” specialty, and represented the Central Kazakhstan.

4-year students of “General Medicine” specialty were divided into two teams: “Plamennaya molodezh” (Flaming Youth) of East Kazakhstan, comprised of the staff of the Department of General Surgery and Traumatology; “Kaspiiskie genii” (Caspian Geniuses) jointly with the staff of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology.

The Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases with 3-year students of “General Medicine” specialty represented “Aurora Borealis” team of Northern Kazakhstan.

To the audience and the jury was shown a rich program of travelling in Kazakhstan.

Team members came to the execution of tasks with creativity and humor. We could watch the miner valor of Karaganda, warmth and hospitality of the South, gentle and sad love of the North, abundance of the West and wisdom of the East.

The contest program of the festival was preceded by a photo contest “My Native Land” in which the participants demonstrated a remarkable ability in photography. The competition featured more than 100 photographs on the originality, beauty and uniqueness of the native land.

The festival program ended with the enchanting concert program prepared by the talented students of the 4 course of “General Medicine” specialty.

The festival completed its mission, but we do not say “Goodbye”, we say, “See you soon!”
