From 6 to 7 March 2017, two employees of KSMU, belonging to the coordinator of Erasmus+ WELCOME project, namely S.B. Kassymova, Head of Department of International Cooperation of KSMU and A.S. Bukeeva, acting Director of Department of Educational and Methodological Work of KSMU have attended a kick-off meeting within Erasmus + project “Towards incoming international university communities” in Barcelona, Spain.

The meeting was held at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In the meeting also took part:

The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Polytechnic University of Catalonia Lourdes Reig Puig, and the main coordinator of the project Alicia Berlanga. All partner universities, including KSMU, made presentations of their universities and prospects of project implementation.

On the next day was made a general presentation of the project “Towards incoming international university communities” of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, followed by consideration of the plan of further cooperation and assignment of people responsible for the work packages.

At the end of the training, all participants were awarded the certificates.
