In KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, the Republican scientific and practical student’s conference "Multilingualism as a development factor of the specialist of a new formation" was held. The conference topics were: "Professional education and language of the specialty", "Language and culture", "Dialogue of cultures". Students and master’s program students from medical high schools of the country took part in it. KSMU was presented by the 1st- and 2nd-year students of the faculty of general medicine and dentistry studying at the departments of the Russian language and foreign languages: Medina Kenzhetai (GM 1-017), Daryn Abilzhanov (GM 1-026), Kuralai Irgizbayeva (GM 1-024), Saida Isayeva (GM 2-037), Dmitry Ushakov (GM 1-034). Within the framework of the conference, there was knowledge and experience exchange on various issues of multilingualism. The conference format, departing from the traditional distribution of diplomas and certificates of achievement for participants, grew into an expanded "round table", conditioned by the particular urgency of the problem. All the participants of the conference received certificates.
