Career Guidance
In accordance with the plan for career guidance for 2016-2017 academic year, a senior teacher of the Department of Pathologic Physiology of KSMU Arinova S.M. conducted a monthly career guidance meeting on admission to Karaganda State Medical University with the pupils of 11th grade of Secondary General School No. 15 of Karaganda. School attendance is carried out twice a month. There is formed only one eleventh gradein this school. During the visit were held discussions of exploratory nature about the history of formation, establishment and development of KSMU, university structure, faculties and specialties: “Preventive medicine”, “Public health”, “Pharmacy”, “Nursing care” and “Biology”.The pupils learned about the peculiarities of educational process, traditions of student life. S.M. Arinova provided booklets, posters,banners associated with the career guidance.The pupils expressed genuine interest, were active and asked questions about the possibilities of admission and training in KSMU. The administration of Secondary General School No. 15 was positive, open and interested in conducting such meetings. At the endof the meeting, to the school administration was expressed gratitude for the opportunity and assistance in conducting the career guidance and to the future entrants were expressed wishes to successfully pass the upcoming exams!
