At the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy for the first time was conducted a contest for the title of “The Best Student of the Faculty”. To participate in the contest were allowed students of 1-5 courses of all specialties of Preventive Medicine, Public Health, Nursing Care, Pharmacy, Technology of Pharmaceutical Production and Biology, who proved oneself in academic, research, public, cultural activities.

The conditions of the contest comprised the following requirements:

- Only good and excellent grades (A, B-) according to the results of the interim attestations;

- No violations of the Internal Regulations.

The candidates were nominated on the individual basis, independently, and that contributed to development of skills in self-realization among the student youth. An important component of participation was the formation of portfolio in accordance with the provisions of the contest, and inclusion of all information on the participant, his/her scientific and creative achievements at the level of the faculty and University.

From the list of candidates who passed all 3 stages of the contest and received the highest rating of the jury, was chosen a winner, a 1-year student of “Biology” specialty Zhamash Almas, who was awarded the title of “The Best Student of the Faculty”. We express our congratulations! Almas was awarded an honorary diploma and his photo was put on the demonstration board at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy.

This contest will further promote interest of students in learning, intensification of research, sports, social, creative and other activities of students, creation of atmosphere of creative collaboration and competitiveness among students. It is planned to further conduct the annual election of the best student, so we wish everyone success in the learning process and creative endeavors. Do study, participate, and win!
