Today one of the priority tasks in the Republic of Kazakhstan is the development of language policy. The Leader of the State N.A. Nazarbayev pays special attention to this issue, thus having developed a unique project called “The Trinity of Languages”. Since adoption of the new development strategy of the country “Kazakhstan-2050”, the policy of trilingualism, aiming at the study of the state, Russian and English languages, is intensively conducted everywhere, including our University. We express our gratitude to the Rector of KSMU Dosmagambetova R.S., who, in the framework of this direction, creates all conditions and opportunities for training and further development by organizing language courses for the academic and teaching staff. I want to express my gratitude and say a few words about a young and a very talented teacher Nadzharyan Lilit Kamoevna, under whose guidance we were fortunate enough to study the advanced level of English. Lilit Kamoevna features by an original approach to the study of languages, a variety of forms of conducting classes with the use of active teaching methods. She also uses creative approaches to the structure of independent work of attendees that implies writing essays, watching BBC news, meaningful movies and cartoons in English, listening to musical works. A special emphasis by Lilit Kamoevna is made on accessible, systematic learning of grammatical features of language and practice of medical terminology. Professors, associate professors, assistants of departments attend the classes with pleasure and plan to further improve their level of knowledge under the diligent and competent leadership of Lilit Kamoevna.
