Nauryz is a holiday of spring, a new-year celebration for many nationalities. “Nauryz” is translated as “a new day” from the ancient Iranian.

On 15 March at the Department of Internal DiseasesNo. 1was held a “Nauryz meiramy”celebration, attended by the academic and teaching staff and 7-year intern doctors. Among the invited guests were Dean of Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy, M.D., Professor Priz Vladimir Nikolaevich and Head of Department of Clinical Work and Graduates Employment, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, General Practitioner and Public Health Organizer of higher qualification category Bauyrzhan Kadenovich Omarkulov.

The celebration was featured by its multinational flavor, reflecting friendship of Kazakh people with the representatives of Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Russian, and Ukrainian diaspora. During “Nauryz meiramy”celebration were shown some Kazakh customs like “Tusau keser”, “Korisu” and “Suiinshi”. The concert included unforgettable performances, through which the medical interns were able to show their talents. The audience enthusiastically listened to “Erke sylkym” kui, performed by Sydyk Aigerim (7-019 group); a ninth-grade pupil Zhagypparov Kuatzhan affected everybody with “Shirkin-ai” song, accompanied by dombra. Another great Uzbek song titled “Ketsa ketar” was performed by Ergashov Khairulla. The interns of 7-025 group performed a cheerful Russian dance to the music of “Moskovskaya kadril” song; and a student of 7-025 group Hohlova Alina sang a lyrical song in Ukrainian “Charivna skripka”.

 The hosts of the concert program were Zhumabayeva Akmaral (7-018 group) and Kalenov Asylkhan (7-020 group).

In addition, there was provided Kazakh and Uzbek national food, including “Nauryz kozhe”, which is an essential part of “Nauryz meiramy” celebration.

The bright concert program impressed everyone.
