Nauryz is the main holiday of the year of the Turk and Iranian nations that has already been celebrated for over five thousand years. Nauryz is the celebration of spring, revival of nature, beginning of a new year and a new life.

On the eve of this holiday, the Department of Internal diseases No. 2 together with the interns of 6 course and bachelor students of 4 course of General Medicine and Dentistry Faculty conducted a charity concert at the City Hospital No. 1. Great decorations and felicitations elated everyone who entered the hall. The richly set table was prepared for the guests.

The solemn ceremony started with the welcoming speech of the Vice-Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of KSMU Vilen Borisovich Molotov-Luchanskiy.

For the patients of the Hospital were performed songs and dances, kyuis on dombra, national traditions and many other actions arranged by the talented students.

When the concert was over, the Head of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 Elena Mikhailovna Laryushina congratulated everyone on Nauryz holiday and thanked all the students who had taken part in the concert. The students were also given the letters of gratitude. At the end of the event, the participants and guests were offered to try the national food. The whole event was held in a friendly, cheerful and heartwarming atmosphere.
