On 25-26 February at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov was held a Republican debate tournament “KazNMU CUP II” among the universities of Kazakhstan.

  The annual tournament “KazNMU CUP II” has long been a good starting ground for talented speakers. 64 teams representing all regions of Kazakhstan took part in the tournament. Medical tourism, clinical studies of medicines, professional qualities of medical workers and other important issues were under discussion this time.

  Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the participants of “Namys.kz” discussion club Malikaydar Aizhan and Koyshyn Moldir.

  All participants were divided into two leagues “Alpha” and “Beta” based on the results of the qualifying round. Speakers with the most wins and high speaker rates participated in the “Alpha” league. The teams consisted of two participants and acted in the American parliament format. The core of the debate is that the opponents are discussing a certain topic, representing the government and the opposition.

  The team from Karaganda “Namys.kz” won the tournament in a bright and exciting struggle.
