Tolerance in Constitutional State
The Ministry for Prevention of Religious Extremism of “Samruk”
SR jointly with the Youth Work Department conducted a game “Tolerance in Constitutional
State”, dedicated to the Day for Tolerance. The aim of the event was to raise student
awareness of the subjects in the field of religion and confessional politics of
the state.
During the event, the students were acquainted with the regulatory and legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of religion and religious associations, rights and responsibilities of the citizens (including students) in this area.
The organizers divided the participants into two teams; each team had to answer questions of various difficulty levels from 10 to 50 points in 4 categories: world religions, myths, culture and traditions of the Kazakh people, the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on religion.
The guests of the event were the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry for the IV course D.T. Ospanova and the Chair of the Commission for prevention of religious extremism of KSMU S.A. Nikiforova. In the event also took part the ministers of “Samruk” SR: Minister of Patriotic and Legal Education of students T. Abdrakhman, Minister of Culture Zh. Zhumabai and Minister of Social Affairs S. Mirzataeva.
At the end of the game with a score of 260 points, “Mir” team (Captain Kanash Asylkhan) was awarded the diploma of 2 degree. The winner of the intellectual quiz with a score of 330 points became “Argyndar” team (Captain Zhusupova Zhansaya).
