On 17 February at “Villa Borghese” Restaurant Complex took place the first in the history of our University Rector Ball.

The event was organized by “Samruk” Student Republic with the support of the University administration.

Fifty pairs of the Ball participants have been practicing dance moves for two months in order to show on this historical day the fruits of their labour, all the beauty of classical dance.

Parents and close relatives of our debutants came from all regions of the country in order to encourage them.

After performances of all participants, the jury summed up the results of the Ball according to various categories; The King and The Queen of the First Ball have been chosen Salimov Chingiz (student of 3-056 OM group) and Abdirash Akmaral (student of 4-002 МПД group). As a prize, the winners of all nominations received cash certificates from the sponsors. The Ball was conducted with the support of our respected sponsors: “Elit” Store of Medical Clothing, “Villa Borghese” Restaurant Complex, Pizzeria Luigi, “Sultan Collection” Fashion House, “Shtab kvartira” Time Cafe, and Designer of “DK Collection” handmade jewelry.

The First Rector Ball entails new acquaintances, positive emotions and examples of good manners, which significantly impact the University youth, since it not only enhances the culture of student life, but also enables educational work.
