Extraordinary vocal skills, incendiary humor and graceful dancing were the components of a bright and unforgettable concert titled “We light the stars”. This concert was prepared by the interns of 6 course of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1, and took place at the main building of KSMU.

On 10 February at the Auditorium No. 329 was conducted an event that brought together the teachers of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1, the representatives of the Dean's Office of Internship Faculty and, of course, the talented participants – therapist interns of 6 course.

  The remarkable hosts of the event S. Yunusov (6-036) and N. Samoylova (6-052) started the concert program. At the beginning of the concert the students B. Duysenova, A. Tuyakbaeva, A. Les, Sh. Allamuratova (6-043 and 6-044 groups), dressed up in national costumes reflecting Kazakh traditions and culture, performed a beautiful Kazakh dance.

  Then was shown a video clip about the University, research and medical activities of the Department of Internal diseases No. 1, prepared by 6-049 and 6-050groups. The snippets of the department life revealed in the video were meet with applause and positive emotions.

  Further were demonstrated the vocal skills of the students K. Zhylysbay (6-037) with “Ake-ana” song, D. Nekhmetzhanov with the song titled “Moya devushka uchitsya v mede” (My girlfriend studies at medical university) and A. Moldabekova (6-040) with “Menіmen bile” song. A. Akhmetov (6-056) performed a medley to the guitar; A. Abenov (6-039 group) played “Adai” dombra composition.

   The ingenious and brilliant Indian dance was performed by a student of 6-052 group N. Samoilova. The emotional song of N. Chernysheva (6-047 group) named “Est tolko mig” (There is only a moment), accompanied by the guitar by herself, was accepted by the audience with excitement.

  The girls of 6-036 and 6-037 groups T. Ermakhanbetova, Zh. Toishybek, A. Zhaқsylyқ, P. Zhandarbek performed a fiery Spanish dance. After A. Abenov’s song “Love you like a love song” the audience erupted in enthusiastic applause. 

  On a positive note was continued the evening by the students I. Kaneev (6-052), M. Donovskiy (6-047), N. Altiev (6-049) and D. Nekhmetzhanov (6-049) with a humorous stage production about the life of therapist interns of the Middle Ages. The final song “We light the stars” performed by A. Kasimova and A. Sarsekeeva (6-048 group), gathered all the participants of the concert at the stage.

  Special thanks deserve the students of 6-045, 6-053 and 6-054 groups for decorating the hall, 6-051 group for preparation of invitation cards and 6-047 group for arrangement of the event.

The concert gave us the most pleasant impressions and memories.
