In the framework of the academic mobility program for the academic and teaching staff of Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan State Medical University (WKSMU named after M. Ospanov) and Karaganda State Medical University (KSMU) and for the purpose of its practical implementation, from 30.01.2017 to 08.02.2017 was made a visit of the Head of the Department of Emergency Medical Care No. 1 of KSMU, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Alpyssova A.R.

During this period for the 5-year students of the Faculty of “General medicine” was conducted a lecture course in the form of the problem and academic lectures on “Emergency medical care” discipline. There were also conducted practical classes with the use of active methods and simulation training aids (mannequins, moulages).

A big advantage for successful education process of WKSMUnamed after M. Ospanov is the availability of own hospital - Medical Center named after M. Ospanov, where I had a chance to attend classes, including classes at the Practical Skills Center. In the course of the work at the University, I learned about the other clinical sites of the University: Aktobe Regional Hospital, Emergency Hospital, Aktobe City First-Aid Station, and Center of Practical Skills.

In the memory remained indelible impressions on the Museum of History of Healthcare and WKSMUnamed after M. Ospanov, in which preserved and embodied memorable milestones of development of healthcare of Aktobe region and the University.

I would like to express gratitude to Rector of KSMU, Professor Dosmagambetova R.S. and Rector of WKSMU named after M. Ospanov Bekmukhambetova E.Zh. for the opportunity to realize and acquire new knowledge, skills, and experience in the framework of this project.

I am sincerely grateful to the staff of the Department of Emergency Medical Care, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation with a course of neurosurgery of WKSMU named after M. Ospanov, headed by M.D., Professor Sarkulova J.N. for organization of training at M. Ospanov WKSMU in the course of the seminar “Implementation of principles of evidence-based medicine into educational process” and participation in the module “Implementation of clinical protocols into educational process of medical universities”, «Medical technology assessment»; for the cordial, hospitable, warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.

The first experience in collaboration has facilitated the initiation of planning of our future cooperation and fruitful friendly joint work.
