Health Spartakiad
On 20 January in KSMU was held a solemn closing ceremony of the traditional annual XXXXIII Spartakiad of the academic and teaching staff of Karaganda State Medical University.
The good tradition to conduct an annual competition of teachers and employees of the university started in 1973. Since then, the Health Spartakiad has taken place every winter at the pistes and university gyms.
In the XXXXIII Spartakiad took part 5 teams: ex-champion “Faculty of Continuing Professional Development” team, “Rectorate” combined team, and the teams of the faculties of “Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy”, “Internship” and “General Medicine and Dentistry”.
The competitions were held on January 18-20 in 8 kinds of sport: table tennis, chess, checkers, togyzkumalak, skiing, shooting, volleyball and football.
The Faculty of “General Medicine and Dentistry” has become the winner of the XXXXIII Spartakiad; the silver medals have been awarded to “Internship” team; the bronze medalists has become the team of the Faculty of “Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy”.
