On the eve of the New Year, at Karaganda Athletics Arena ended the regional championship in track-and-field athletics dedicated to the memory of the coaches of Karaganda region. More than 250 athletes from Karaganda, Temirtau, Abay, Saran and Shakhtinsk took part in the competition.

  KSMU team, consisting of Rakhimberlina Saltanat (3-066 OM), Oralbekova Zhazira (3-051 OM), Koshibayeva Ainura (5-106 OM), Rebrina Oksana (4-104 OM), Pan Vasily (4-002 ДT), Kasumov Akhmed (1-007 Стом), Venglovsky Vladimir (3-006 OM), Alteev Damir (1-002 ОЗ), Rogozin Vyacheslav (6-074 OM), Anarbek Mukhtar (2-013 OM) and Nurgaziev Beksultan, competed in 10 kinds of sport: long jump and high jump, 60-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, 1500-meter and 3000-meter run.

  The student of KSMU Rakhimberlina Saltanat took the 1st place in women 3000-meter run. Oralbekova Zhazira took the 2nd place in the same distance run. Earlier Rakhimberlina Saltanat took the 3rd place in 1500-meter run.
