disorders”, for 5-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine.
The lesson was conducted in English by the teachers: the Director of Studies, an assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Stolyarova Valentina Viktorovna and assistants of the Department of Neurology Tuleyov Rustam and Berzhapparova Saltanat. The students of 5-062, 5-065, 5-063, 5-012, 5-004, 5-005 groups actively participated in the analysis of a clinical case. By working individually and in small groups, the students made hypotheses on the leading syndrome, determined the range of differential diagnostics, floated the ideas about the possible diagnostics and treatment. This lesson motivated students to propose new ideas, stimulated development of interdisciplinary links between subject areas of neurology and psychiatry, increased the level of clinical thinking and skills for application of acquired knowledge to solving clinical problems.
