On December 16, 1991, we, the people of Kazakhstan, chose the sovereignty, freedom, openness to the world. The independence of our country is the most sacred of our nation’s acquisitions.

On the eve of the 25th anniversary of Independence of our country, the Regional Station of Emergency Medical Care in Karaganda held a gala concert.5th year students of the “General Medicine” specialty of the 5-032, 5-033, 5-034, 5-074, 5-083, 5-084, 5-092, 5-093, 5-097 groups, that are enrolled at the Department of  Emergency and Medical Care, actively participated in organizing and holding the festival under the direction of the head of the department A.R. Alpyssova and the assistant L.I. Bocharova.

The gala event was attended by representatives of the party "Nur Otan", Deputy Dean of the "General Medicine and Dentistry" faculty of the 5th year, as well as veterans of the ambulance.

The celebration was held in a solemn and festive atmosphere. The concert program organized by Yekaterina Lyalina (5-097 OM) and Zhanar Muldasheva (5-097 ОМ) started after congratulatory speeches and award ceremony. Performances began with dombra players Dias Zhabagenov (5-074 OM) and Makhambet Iskakov (5-084 OM), who have demonstrated mastery of the national instrument. Throughout the program, the festive mood and the warm atmosphere was created by hosts Otemis Ayatbek (5-032 OM) and Nina Podolnikova (5-093 OM), and historical report by Evgenia Bryushinina (5-097 OM) helped everyone present to plunge into the past and understand what a long way our country overcame in order to obtain the independence. After the "travel into the past", our talented students Aissana Kozhageldieva (5-032 OM), Dana Tursynova (5-032 OM), Medeu Sapar (5-033 OM) and Abylaikhan Tanatar (5-034 OM) performed a historical dance "Kara zhorga". Ambulance station employee B.K. Uskembayev performed soulful poem by M. Mukataev about the traditions and values of the people, which caused a lot of warm and tender feelings in guests. Damira Kurtanova (Barankulova) (5-083 OM) and Madina Muratbekova (5-083 OM) performed the "Saryzhaylau" song  about the vast expanses of our homeland. Charismatic singer Abylaikhan Tanatar (5-034 OM) supported the festive mood by the "Mereke" composition. Dias Zhabagenov (5-074 OM) demonstrated dombra virtuosity to the audience, playing kyui "Balamishka". Adilya Abdіl (5-083 OM) pleased the audience with the Kazakh gentle dance. After that the song "Atameken" was sounded on the stage that was performed by Aissana Kozhageldieva (5-032 OM) and Ghizat Serіk (5-093 OM).

Students from India also did not stay aside. Shoubam Sirokhi (5-006 Eng. div.) congratulated the attendees on the Day of Independence of Kazakhstan and presented the song to everybody.

Fiery lezginka performed by Sakhit Kurbanbayev (5-092 OM) and ambulance station employee Yernazar Battal caused a storm of applause. No one was indifferent to the song "My Kazakhstan", which was performed by a group of students: Medeu Sapar (5-033 OM), Madina Muratbekova (5-083 OM), Aliya Sakenova (5-084 OM), Dana Tursynova (5-032 OM), Nargiza Kystaubekova (5-034 OM), Abylaikhan Tanatar (5-034 OM), Lyudmila Martova (5-084 OM), Aigerіm Dyussenova (5-084 OM), Arailym Sakenova (5-084 OM), Aissana Kozhageldieva (5 -032 OM), and Ghizat Serіk (5-093 OM). The audience has been singing along with the artists!

A touching poem by T. Aybergenov "My Motherland" was read by Zhuldyz Shraimanova (5-093 OM). Charming Gulhayo Sheraliyeva (5-097 OM) pleased the audience with Khorezm dance. Patriotic song "Kazakh Eli" that affected everyone was performed by Nargiza Kystaubekova (5-034 OM).

Final accord of the whole celebration was the final song "Tughan jer" that was performed by all the participants of the concert program.

Ravil Garifzyanov (5-084 OM) and Evgeniy Selivanov (5-083 OM) helped memorializing the joyful moments of the festive event. Thanks to the coordinated work of Alexander Schlegel (5-092 OM) and Evgenia Bryushinina (5-097 OM) the technical maintenance of the concert was great.

After the the celebration, the director of the regional station of ambulance medical care in Karaganda expressed his gratitude to the participants and organizers of the concert, and the greatest gratitude for us, students, was the sincere emotions of everyone present, their happy smiles and happy faces. For us, this concert was on of the brightest events of our student life and, thanks to it, we became even more friendly. We will never forget this day.

Every person living on the planet  feels a sense of pride for his people, for his country and history. And today, we have to remember the past and know the present in order to build brighter future. And we invite all of our peers, all Kazakhstani people, to devote themselves to the service of the motherland - the Republic of Kazakhstan.
