A grand meeting, dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at the Assembly Hall of KSMU.

        Rector of KSMU R.S. Dosmagambetova in her welcoming speech covered the main stages of development and the current position of our country.

For constant conscientious work and in connection with the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, by the Order of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of RK, “Денсаулык сақтау ісіне қосқан үлесі үшін” badge was assigned to:

- Associate Professor of Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Begezhanov Bakhit Abugalisinovich.

- Associate Professor of Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Evidence-based Medicine, Candidate of Medical Sciences Kemelova Gulshat Seitmuratovna.

“Денсаулық сақтау ісінің үздігі” badge was assigned to:

- Associate Professor of Department of General Medical Practice No. 3, nursing care with a course of neurosurgery Omarkulov Bauyrzhan Kadenovich.

- Assistant of Department of Therapeutic and Prosthetic Dentistry Tusbaev Marat Galimovich.

For constant and conscientious work, “Еңбек ардагері” badge was assigned to:

- Associate Professor of Department of Children Infectious Diseases, Candidate of Medical Sciences Starikov Yuri Grigorievich.

For perfect work, personal contribution to the healthcare system and in connection with the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the honorary diploma of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of RK was given to:

- Deputy Director of Department of Economics and Finance Pshykova Galina Vladimirovna.

The letter of gratitude of the Minister of Healthcare and Social Development of RK was given to:

- Dean of Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy, M.D., Professor Priz Vladimir Nikolaevich.

- Head of Department of Internal Diseases No. 1, M.D., Professor Taizhanova Dana Zhumagalievna.

- Head of Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics, M.D., Professor Kultanov Berikbay Zhukenovich.

- Head of Department of Strategic Development, Candidate of Biological Sciences Muratova Alma Zulfukharovna.

For development of regional socio-economic culture, spiritual development and promotion of the language policy of the country, conscientious work, the honorary diploma of the Board of Language Development of Karaganda region was given to:

- Head of Department of Kazakh Language, Candidate of Philological Sciences Maretbaeva Marina Abilzhanovna.

- Assistant of Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1, Candidate of Medical Sciences Darmenov Ergali Nurmakhambetovich. 

- Senior teacher of the Department of Kazakh Language Alpysova Aiman Kikimovna. 

- Teacher of Department of Medical Education Zholdanova Dilnura Maratovna.

Then a concert started after the official part. The creative groups of KSMU arranged a diverse concert program: performances of folk groups and modern variety art of Kazakhstan.

         The audience was impressed with the vocal of soloists, melodic sounding of dombra, and with refined Kazakh dances. The academic and teaching staff as well as the students of the University attended the concert.
