On 29 November 2016 in the framework of the month dedicated to prevention of AIDS, held from November 1 to December 1, “Zhuldyz” Youth Health Centre together with the Youth Work Department arranged an intellectual game on the topic “Health in Your Hands”.

In the game took part the following: “Edinichka” team of students of the Dormitory No. 1, “Natus Vincere” team of students of the Dormitory No. 3, and “Blokator” team of students of the Dormitory No. 7.

The aim of this game was to broaden the knowledge of the students on such concepts as HIV and AIDS, promotion of healthy lifestyle, formation of negative attitude to bad habits, as well as tolerance towards people with HIV.

All teams were actively involved in the event; the existing knowledge of the students was clearly revealed. The event consisted of three stages: designing of a poster on the topic; the game itself on the knowledge of the history of AIDS, the ways of transmission and prevention, clinical picture and treatment, stages of disease; working out of situational problems in a creative manner.

At the end of the event, the jury assigned the I place to “Blokator” team, the II place to “Edinichka” team, and the III place to “Natus Vincere” team.
