On the eve of the 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the annual tradition, was held an intellectual game among the interns of various areas of study. The game was organized by the interns and the teachers of the Department of Internal Diseases No.2 together withthe Dean’s office of the Internship Faculty. There wasa festive atmosphere in the hall: 4-year students played Kurmangazy kyui and performed a Kazakh folk dance. The Chairman of the Council of KSMU Veterans Sartabaev Sembek Abdrahmanovich made a congratulatory and complimentary speech.

Out of 18 registered participants, only four could pass the qualifying round and took part in the game: an intern of the Department of General Medical Practice No. 2 Bykova Svetlana, the interns of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1 Kaneev Ilya and Seydanov Dinmukhamed, an intern of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 3 Muslimova Asem. The game consisted of two rounds and a final round. The categories of the game were devoted to freedom, unity, stability, creation and prosperity of Kazakhstan. Kaneev Ilya and Muslimova Asem could reach the final round due to the points advantage. In the final round, because of the exclusion method, “Astana” category was left. After the bets were placed, all the participants gave a wrong answer to the question on the date of the UNESCO Prize award for “City of Peace”. Anyway, Muslimova Asem subsequently won on more points with a score of 1750.

The Head of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 Laryushina Y.M. congratulated the guests and participants on the upcoming holiday of honor and joy for implementation of the centuries-old dreams of the nation, for the achievements of the Republic of Kazakhstan. All participants were awarded the certificates, those who passed the elimination round were given the memorable gifts, and the winner was awarded the diploma of winner of the intellectual game and a trophy.

At the end of the festive event, 6-year interns and 4-year students sang a song called “Kok tudyn zhelbiregeni”.
