The Youth Work Department together with the Ministry of Protection of Rights and Interests of Students of “Samruk” SR held a Legal Awareness Day.

During this event, the participants familiarized with important information, such as the data on normative legal documents concerning the rights and obligations of the university students, the internal regulations of the dormitories, and the duties of the university administration.

In order to raise the legal awareness, the participants were suggested taking part in a game called “A competent student is a reliable citizen”. The participants were divided into 2 teams; each team had to answer the questions under 4 categories of varying complexity (from 10 to 50 points): the common law, the rights of students within educational process, the rights of students in the dormitories, the rights of students in the social environment.

Based on the results of the game, “Бірлік” team (Nurlybekova Nurgul, Team Captain) took the second place with the score of 190 points. The winner of the intellectual game became “Болашак” team (Ryskulbek Dinara, Team Captain) with the score of 270points.
