The Gala Forum of the IV Republican Patriotic Student Festival titled “Мен жастарға сенемін!” was held at U.A. Zholdasbekov Palace of Students in Almaty. This year the prestigious youth forum timed to celebration of the Day of the First President, was dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

      The students of 63 universities, representing 14 regions of Kazakhstan, made more than 1500 applications for participation in the festival. 400 of the most talented young men and women were allowed by the expert jury to participate in the competition.

      The main purpose of the youth forum is to evoking feelings of patriotism and civic responsibility in young people for future development of Kazakhstan. A student of Karaganda State Medical University Aidar Tuleev was unanimously acknowledged by the expert jury as the winner of the Grand Prix of the IV Republican Festival in “Мәңгілік ел - мұратым!” contest of patriotic song.

      In addition to an honorary diploma and a valuable gift from the sponsors, Aidar was awarded the main prize of the festival organizers, the state grant of Al-Farabi KazNU for free education within a year.
