At Karaganda State Industrial University was heldthe IV Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern problems of formation of healthy lifestyle among young people”. The students of “Nursing care” specialty took part in the conference through delivering reports in “Healthy lifestyle and its components” section.

A report of a 4-year-student Olga Zorina was dedicated to psychological aspects of energy drinks consumption by the medical students. The urgency of this problem is represented by the fact, that the students undergo a complex of factors specific to the university students, such as systematic lack of sleep, less time spent out in the open air, physical inactivity due to heavystudy load. The resulting neuro-emotional stress has to be relived. It can be done through different ways: sports, leisure, hobbies, orconsuming energy drinks that have become popular recently and distributed among different population groups, including young students, and led to formation of psychological dependence on energy drinks.

The attitude of the students of “Nursing care” specialty to formation of a healthy lifestyle was presented in a report of 3-year students Gaysha Ospanova and Zhansaya Sagymbekova.

For participation in the conference O.A. Zorina was awarded aIII place diploma and a gift. G.Ospanova and Zh. Sagymbekova were given a certificate of active participation.

“Presentation of scientific paperin front of a large audience was a good experience for the students of “Nursing care” specialty”, said O. Zorina. “I am pleased with my first achievement. It is not just participation in the conference, but also a crucial moment in preparation of a creative research. Now I have the experience in public presentation of a scientific paper. I understand how much effort should be made for further achievements in scientific activity on this issue.

Thanks to my supervisor Sedach N.N., I for the first time took part in the conference. Now, analyzing mypresentation and presentations of other participants, I have a reason to work on my scientific potential and image!

This conference provided an excellent opportunity to expand the knowledge and move forward to achievement of new goals!”
